Commands to use when updating my Gentoo box

emerge --sync
emerge -puND world (the 'p' "pretends", it does not actually execute the 'uND')
emerge -uND world
dispatch-conf  (use this instead of etc-update, much easier ;-)
revdep-rebuild (run this twice just to macke sure ;-)
