My daughter's Motorola W490 somehow corrupted the MicroSD card
I was able to use "PC Inspector File Recovery" to recover every file from the corrupted MicroSD card
Another file recovery application I tried but did not work was "Zero Assumption Digital Recovery". This app is highly rated on SnapFiles.com but was unable to recover the corrupted files. When dealing with this sort of issue don't give up try several different apps.
